The deployment schedule takes too long to rollout because desktops need to be updated (on a corporate schedule) with the necessary code components.

Application QA testing against multiple Windows configurations take too long and/or too many resources

It takes too long to push and install software to desktops

Locked down desktops make it difficult to deploy applications because everything has to be updated at the same time

Post installation conflicts take a lot of support time and resources to resolve

Our deployment schedule doesn’t allow us to take advantage immediately of new technologies (for example, delivering an application based on the latest version of .NET)

Many applications are not designed to be run on Terminal Server/Citrix
